While in Capetown it was so amazing to look at Table Mountian. The Lord said, "Behold I have set a table before you". We now had a whole new meaning to what He was saying to us about what we would do in Africa.
"In my dream I saw a very pregnant Rhino laying on the ground covered with mud in the hot, hot sun. She was trying to birth her baby but could not because she is so covered in mud. Having fallen in the large open plains of Africa, she was now in extreme pain and can not get up. The pains are of no use to her and she knows that she is in trouble because the birth process is not happening. But, in distance she can see a giraffe coming toward her. He bends his neck and with great force begins to swing his head hitting the Rhino on the back in order to break off the mud so that the birth process can continue. With his mission complete he walks away allowing the Rhino to complete the birth process".
We believe that a new work is being birthed in Africa. A new foundation. A new generation. It will take (the prophetic) those who can see ahead in the spirit to move it forward so that it will be birthed in the earth. We are, with many more, just vessels the Lord will use in the "ministry of a midwife" to help in this birthing process.
Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness, that most frightens us. We ask ourselves, who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented and fabulous?
Actually, who are you not to be? You are a child of God. Your playing small doesn’t serve the world. There is nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people won’t see feel insecure around you.
We were born to make manifest the glory of God that is within us. It’s not just in some of us, it’s in everyone. And as we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same. As we are liberated from our fear, our presence automatically liberates others.
